The Maori words for the National Anthem translate as follows:
Let all people,
Red skin, white skin,
Maori, Pakeha,

be forgiven.

Red skin, white skin,
Maori, Pakeha,

be forgiven.
So that we may say long live
Aotearoa (The land of the long white cloud)
